Due to the large rural area of our state and members residing in all areas of the state, the Council has elected to host all meetings on Zoom. At this time the Council is not having in-person meetings. All meetings will take place over zoom until further notice. The password for all council and committee public meetings is 12345. You can join the meetings using the zoom app or by calling in with the meeting information to your local zoom number. To find your local zoom number please see the list below:

The Council meets at least quarterly as determined by the Chairperson. The Council has the following committees:

  1. Executive Committee
  2. Policy Committee
  3. Evaluation Committee
  4. Budget Committee

Meeting dates are listed in our 2026 Calendar (see above). Past and present meetings are also located in our online calendar (linked above). We are happy to provide reasonable accommodations as defined by ADA Title 2 Regulations for NGCDD sponsored meetings and events. All Council meetings are subject to Nevada’s Open Meeting Law.

This committee is responsible for overseeing all internal policies and can make executive decisions on behalf of the Council as a whole.

This committee is responsible for overseeing the budget of the Council.

Community Education Events

Each year the NGCDD partners with communities across the state to host events that educate and inform individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families and professionals about services and supports available in their community. If you or your organization have an upcoming event we can support, please contact our Outreach and Fiscal Manager, Ellen Marquez, at elmarquez@nvha.nv.gov.
