The Nevada Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities invites you to attend the Silver State Self-Advocacy Conference 2022, a conference by and for the I/DD community.

This event is in partnership with Nevada Aging and Disability Services, the Nevada Disability Advocacy and Law Center, the Nevada Center for Excellence in Disabilities, Nevada Department of Education Office of Inclusive Education, Nevada Blind Connect, Nevada PEP, Opportunity Village, and the Statewide Independent Living Council.

This event is being held hybrid both in-person and virtually!

Registration is FREE and open to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD), family members of those with I/DD, and professionals who work in this community. Travel assistance is available on a limited basis and must be requested on your registration form.

Registration is closed. Conference agendas and additional materials will be sent in July 2022, to all registered attendees.

We are also seeking speakers to host breakout sessions during the conference. If you are interested in presenting at the conference, please fill out the application below by May 27, 2022. Applicants will be notified by June 15, 2022, if they’ve been selected to present.
